Object Oriented Database Management System

The database is an organized collection of data, that a computer program can easily access the needed data, multiple users can share it for various purposes.

"A collection of information that is grouped and stored in a structured way is called the database ".

In an object database (also object-oriented database), information is represented in the form of objects as used in object-oriented programming. When database capabilities are combined with object Oriented programming language capabilities, the result is an Object Database Management System (ODBMS).

An object-oriented database uses the small overall approach of object-oriented programming. With this approach, both the data and processing instructions are stored in the database.

message is a request to execute or run a method.

Many object-oriented databases have their own query language, called object query language (QOL), which is similar to SQL.

Object databases are established as a compliment, not a replacement for relational databases.
