Why We Placed A Microwave Tower On Maximum Height?

Microwave towers are placed at maximum height to increase their line-of-sight range and improve the quality of their wireless communication signals. Microwave transmission operates in the range of very high frequency (VHF) and ultra-high frequency (UHF) bands, which have a relatively short range due to their high frequency and the curvature of the Earth.

By placing microwave towers at high elevations, the transmission range can be increased as the signal is less affected by obstructions such as hills, buildings, and trees. This is important for long-distance communication links, such as those used for telecommunications, broadcasting, and data networking. In addition, placing microwave towers at high elevations also reduces the possibility of interference from other signals in the area, improving the overall quality and reliability of the communication link.

However, it is worth noting that placing a microwave tower at a very high elevation can also create other challenges, such as increased exposure to harsh weather conditions, the need for stronger supporting structures, and potential safety hazards for workers involved in the installation and maintenance of the tower.
